A pumpkin pie inspired shot that encapsulates all the fall flavors. It's topped with whipped cream, graham crackers, and pumpkin pie spice for a delicious treat.

Pumpkin Pie Shot Recipe

This pumpkin pie shooter is a part of my 31 Days of Halloween. For each day in October, I come up with a cocktail recipe and snack recipe that perfectly matches a scary movie, Halloween movie, or a fun spooky activity. Check it out for all of your Halloween snack and drinking desires!

This shooter makes for a great after-dinner treat or the perfect way to start a Halloween party. It's pumpkin pie in a mini glass! There's notes of pumpkin, butterscotch, whipping cream, and pumpkin pie spice. Not only are these shooters tasty they are also really cute. I mean they are topped with whipped cream, graham crackers, and pumpkin pie spice. Where could it go wrong?! If you are one of those folks that thinks pumpkin pie should be around all year long then this shooter is for you!

Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream: It's Irish cream but make it pumpkin-y! This adds in the pumpkin flavors and the cream flavors all into one!

Pupmkin Vodka: I'm not a big flavored vodka fan, but this vodka is great to have around in your cabinet when fall rolls around. It really makes the pumpkin flavor in this shooter pop!

Butterscotch Schnapps: I tried this shooter without schnapps. I tried it with caramel instead too, but I also just came back to the shooter that had butterscotch schnapps added to it. It definitely makes this shooter taste just like autumn!

Whipping Cream Vodka: Adds in a bit of sweetness to complete the pumpkin pie flavor.

Whipping Cream: I guess you could leave off the whipping cream on the top, but I highly recommend you don't. The shooters without the whipping cream were definitely missing something. Just like the pumpkin pie slice that doesn't have whipping cream on top is missing something.

Graham Cracker Crumbs + Pumpkin Pie Spice: These toppings make this shooter even better!

Halloween Shots Idea

In a shaker, pour in 1/2 ounce pumpkin spice Irish cream, 1/2 ounce butterscotch schnapps, 1/4 ounce pumpkin vodka, and 1/4 ounce whipping cream vodka. Add in a couple ice cubes and shake about 10 seconds until chilled. Strain into a shooter glass. Top with whipped cream, graham cracker crumbs, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Cheers!

Cooking Challenge Dinner; This pumpkin pie shooter was a part of my 31 days of Halloween. For dinner, we had a random fall-ish ingredients and had to create a meal with them. This pumpkin pie shooter was the perfect dessert afterwards.

Peanut Butter Whisky Sour; A peanut butter whisky sour would be a great cocktail to sip on after this shooter to keep up with the fall vibes!

I can't find pumpkin spice Irish cream. What can I substitute?
Any pumpkin spice liqueur will taste great in this shooter! You could also increase the amount of pumpkin vodka and add in a splash of regular Irish cream.

Is the whipped cream necessary?
YES! Okay, you could leave it off, but you'll sacrifice some of that amazing flavor. The whipping cream helps tone down the pumpkin pie spice flavor and balances it all out. So I guess it could be optional, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for best results.
