Grapefruit Drink Non Alcoholic

Tart, Tangy, Sweet, & Pretty

This pink mocktail has a perfect balance of flavors and is so refreshing. If you like grapefruit then you'll love this drink. The pink grapefruit juice is definitely the star of the show with the strawberry, lime, and mint pairing with the grapefruit wonderfully. Lastly, this drink is topped off with some club soda for those refreshing bubbles.

Because of this drink's pink color, it makes a perfect drink for Valentine's Day and goes great with those Valentine's Day strawberries. This easy grapefruit mocktail is sophisticated enough for special occasions and also easy enough for a weeknight.

Delicious Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail: Ingredients

✽ Strawberries: Muddled strawberries add in some sweetness, a bit of sourness, and freshness.

✽ Fresh Mint Leaves: The mint adds in a nice freshness and brightness and balances out the whole drink. The combination of grapefruit and mint is one of my favorite things.

✽ Sugar: The grapefruit juice is tart and bitter so this small amount of added sugar is necessary. You can also use your favorite sugar substitute if desired.

✽ Lime Juice: Lime juice makes this mocktail light and bright! Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.

✽ Grapefruit Juice: The grapefruit juice is the star of the show. On its own, it is tart and semi-sweet. However, when combined with all the other ingredients, it makes a complex drink that everybody is sure to enjoy. I used store-bought grapefruit juice, but you can also use fresh grapefruit juice.

✽ Club Soda: Without the club soda, I felt like this mocktail was missing something. When topped with the club soda, a pretty light, bright, bubbly, and tasty concoction was born.

Grapefruit Mocktail Recipe: Questions

✽ Can I make this alcoholic?

Sure can! You can add 1.5 ounces of plain vodka or gin to the cocktail shaker with the rest of the ingredients.

✽ Is this mocktail sweet?

I wouldn't consider this a sweet mocktail especially when compared to some drinks I've had. It is more tart/sour than sweet, but there is a slight sweetness to it to balance out that sourness.

However, if you like sweeter drinks, I suggest increasing the amount of sugar to 3/4 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon.
