✽ Pineapple Juice: I am a huge fan of any drink that contains pineapple juice. It adds sweetness, some acidity, and a lot of tropical goodness. For this recipe, I used Dole 100% Pineapple Juice.

✽ Orange Juice: In the cocktail version, blue curacao is added to the drink. For this mocktail, I chose to sub the blue curacao with orange juice. The orange and pineapple flavors pair very well together.

✽ Cream of Coconut: Cream of coconut is one of my favorite things and every coconut lover should always have some on hand. Make sure you pick up 'cream of coconut' and NOT 'coconut cream'. They are different! Cream of coconut is a thick sweetened coconut syrup.

✽ Sweetened Coconut Flakes: Sweetened coconut flakes on the rim of the glass taste delicious and make this mocktail have extra holiday spirit!

✽ Blue Food Coloring: Lastly, blue food coloring is added to the mix to achieve that beautiful light blue frosty color. Of course, you can always leave out the food coloring. It will still taste just as great but will be a yellow color instead of blue. The original Jack Frost cocktail recipe gets its blueness from blue curacao which is an orange liqueur that has been dyed blue with food coloring.

How to Make Jack Frost Winter Mocktail

➊ In a blender, combine 8 ounces pineapple juice, 3 ounces orange juice, 3 ounces cream of coconut, 2 1/2 cups of ice cubes, and 10 drops blue food coloring. Blend until smooth and frosty.

Jack Frost Christmas Mocktail Recipe: Questions

✽ What is cream of coconut?

Cream of coconut is a sweetened coconut-flavored syrup. It is thick and reminds me of sweetened condensed milk. You find it listed in many tropical cocktail ingredient lists. Cream of coconut is NOT the same as coconut cream, and they should not be used interchangeably. Coconut cream is not sweetened and very thick.
