✽ Vodka: A classic white tea shot calls for plain vodka. Use your favorite vodka for the tastiest shots.

✽ Peach Schnapps: The peach schnapps liqueur brings in delicious peach fruity flavor as well as a sweet taste. Popular brands include Mr Stacks Peach Schnapps and DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps Liqueur.

✽ Sweet & Sour Mix: Just like the name says, this mix will give these shots their sweetness and sourness. The tart flavor with the sweet peach is phenomenal!

You can either buy pre-made sweet & sour mix from the grocery store/liquor store or you can make it homemade. It is really simple and quick to make!

✽ Lemon-Lime Soda: A splash of soda will add in more sweetness, citrus flavor, and a bit of bubbles.

✽ Lemon Wedge: Lastly, the shot glasses are garnished with a lemon wedge. Squeeze the lemon juice into the shot prior to taking it for an even more sour tasting shot!

Best White Tea Shot Recipe: Questions

✽ How do you make homemade sweet & sour mix?

Sweet & Sour Mix is a simple syrup with both lemon and lime juice added to it. It is very easy to make homemade sour mix.

In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until all of the sugar has dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice and 1/4 cup fresh lime juice. Store covered (I like to store mine in a glass Mason jar) in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.

✽ White Tea Shot Variations

Another way to make white tea shots is with silver tequila instead of vodka (White Tea Shots with Tequila).

Another popular shot is the classic green tea shot. Green tea shots also have equal parts of ingredients but are made with Jameson Irish Whiskey instead of vodka.

✽ White Tea Cocktail

Another delicious way to enjoy these flavors is in an alcoholic drink rather than a shot. To make a white tea cocktail, add 3/4 ounce vodka, 3/4 ounce peach schnapps, and 3/4 ounce sweet & sour mix to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it until it becomes chilled, about 10 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a tall glass with ice then top the glass with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
