These fun strawberry lemonade jello shots are packed full of so much tasty flavor. These shots are made with strawberry vodka, strawberry Jello, and fresh lemon juice for that wonderful strawberry lemonade taste. These strawberry shots are perfect for any time of the year but especially great for summertime, a hot day, and backyard barbecues!

These fruity jello shots just scream summer to me! You'll definitely want to serve up a batch of these strawberry lemonade jello shots at your next summer party, outdoor party, or pool party. But honestly, these shots are so tasty that they are a huge hit all year round.
These shots have both fresh lemon juice and strawberry flavored vodka in them for all the best flavors. Step up your jello shot game, and garnish the shots with a strawberry slice and lemon wedge to make them so much fun.
Lemon Strawberry Jello Shots: Ingredients

✽ Water: This recipe only uses half of the boiling water that basic jello shots call for. By using less water, these shots will be flavor packed!
✽ Lemon Juice: For the rest of the liquid, we will add in fresh lemon juice. This will give the shot tartness and lemon flavor in order to mimic actual strawberry lemonade. The tangy lemon pairs so well with the sweet strawberry. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor!
✽ Strawberry Gelatin Packet (Powder): This strawberry gelatin adds in that yummy strawberry candy taste! I use one 3-ounce package of strawberry Jello for this recipe.
✽ Strawberry Vodka: By using flavored vodka, the shots will have less of a vodka taste and more of a strawberry candy taste.
Some good brands include Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka, Three Olives Strawberry Vodka, and Veil Strawberry Vodka. If you want more lemon flavored added, you can also use Svedka Strawberry Lemonade Vodka.
✽ Garnish: Fresh Strawberries + Lemons: To make these jello shots extra fun and tasty, garnish the rim of each shot glass with a small strawberry slice and/or small lemon wedge. Or garnish with a twisted lemon peel!
How to Make Strawberry Lemon Jell-O Shots
➊ In a small saucepan, bring 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup lemon juice to a boil. Whisk the boiling lemon water into 3 ounces of strawberry jell-o powder in a medium mixing bowl or large measuring cup. Whisk for about 2 minutes until all the gelatin dissolves.
➋ Whisk in 1 cup strawberry vodka into the hot jello mixture. Stir well.
➌ Pour mixture into 2 ounce plastic shot glasses or disposable shot cups. You should get about 10 shots. I like to set all the plastic cups on a small baking sheet or cookie sheet so that it is easier to carry them to and from the fridge. Place the shots in the fridge for 3-4 hours or until set.
➍ Right before serving, garnish each shot with a small strawberry slice and/or small lemon wedge. Cheers!
Strawberry Lemonade Jello Shots: Questions
✽ Do I have to use strawberry vodka?
Nope! You can use regular vodka if that's all you have. I chose to use flavored vodka because it just makes these shots even tastier and more flavorful! It makes for a really good jello shot.
Sometimes when you use plain vodka in jello shots, the vodka can overpower the gelatin. However, these shots will still be tasty if you use plain vodka.
✽ Can I put more alcohol in these jello shots?
I do not recommend adding more than a cup of vodka to these gelatin shots. When you change how much alcohol you add, you run the risk of the jello shots not setting properly.
✽ Can I use a different flavor of Jello?
Absolutely! This is a great recipe to play with to make your own flavors. Swap out the Jello with any other fruity flavor such as cherry, black cherry, berry blue, or raspberry. You can also swap out the flavored vodka as well to any other fruity vodka! There are so many good flavor combinations. You can't go wrong!

These strawberry lemon jello shots are packed full of so much tasty flavor. These tasty shots are made with strawberry vodka, strawberry Jello, and fresh lemon juice for those wonderful strawberry lemonade flavors. This simple recipe is perfect for any time of the year but especially great for summer parties and pool parties!

Ingredients
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 3 ounces strawberry gelatin powder
• 1 cup strawberry vodka
• Optional: 10 small strawberry slices, for garnish
• Optional: 10 small lemon wedges, for garnish
Instructions
➊ In a small saucepan, bring water and lemon juice to a boil. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk boiling lemon water into the strawberry gelatin powder. Continue whisking for about 2 minutes until all the powder has dissolved.
➋ Whisk in strawberry vodka.
➌ Pour liquid gelatin mixture into 10 2-ounce jello shot cups. Place in the fridge for about 3-4 hours or until the shots have set.
➍ Right before serving, garnish each shot with a small strawberry slice and/or lemon wedge, if desired. Cheers!
