A beautiful fruit and cheese board that has all the fall vibes! On this fruit tray, you'll find all my favorite fall fruits, cheeses, and caramel sauce. This cheese board is perfect for fall festivities, Halloween parties, snacking prior to Thanksgiving dinner, and enjoying with a cup of apple cider.
Beautiful, Cheesy, Fruity, and all the Fall Vibes
Is there anything better than a tray full of delicious snacks, fresh fruits, and cheese?! I don't think so. This fall fruit and cheese board is the perfect chilly October or November snack. Pair it with some fall sangria, and you'll have a great day! This is an easy appetizer and healthy snack that the whole family is sure to love.
This board is heavy on the fruit. I focused mostly on fall fruit such as dried cranberries, apples, red grapes, oranges, and pears. For the cheeses, I went with two white cheeses- a soft (Brie) and a hard (white cheddar). I then surrounded the board with walnuts and pretzels. Lastly, I added a bowl of caramel sauce for dipping!
You can have this fruit board made in no time and ready for all your Halloween parties, Thanksgiving gatherings, fall festivities, and special occasions!

Of course, you can choose your favorite fruits, cheese, and nuts for this board, but this is my favorite combination!
β½ Fruit: fresh apples, pears, oranges, red/purple grapes, dried cranberries
This variety of fresh fruit not only make me think of fall, but the colors of the fruits are just gorgeous together.
β½ Nuts + Pretzels: walnuts
I chose walnuts, but pecans, almonds, and Brazil nuts are really great choices as well. The mini twisted pretzels look nice on the board and taste great with the cheese and caramel! You could also use pretzel sticks.
β½ Cheese: brie, white cheddar
When making a cheese platter, I like to choose a soft and hard cheese. I like how the white cheeses look the best with the fall fruits to make a beautiful fruit plate. Goat cheese would also be a tasty white cheese to add to this board!
β½ Dip: caramel sauce
Caramel sauce is a must for a fall fruit tray. I think it's the best part! You can make a homemade caramel or you could buy a pre-made caramel syrup at the grocery store.
How to Make a Fall Cheese and Fruit Board
There's many different ways to arrange this on a board, but here's how I did it!
Since the brie cheese is the biggest, I begin by putting that first on the platter. I surrounded the brie with the pear, red apple, and orange slices. Then I put the small bowl of caramel sauce across from the brie.
I put 3 bunches of red/purple grapes in the empty spaces, and placed small slices of white cheddar on one empty edge of the platter. On the other side of the caramel, I put a pile of twisted pretzels.
I then filled in the small holes of the platter with walnut pieces and dried cranberries. Lastly, I put a sprig of fresh oregano on the brie. It's a greay way to add in some green color to the platter.
What to Serve with this Fall Fruit and Cheese Tray
β’ Crackers and/or French bread; Would be another great addition to this cheese board!
β’ Fall Sangria; A fall cheese board calls for a fall sangria. The perfect treat for a cool fall day!
β’ Tequila Orange Julius; For my Halloween celebrations and countdown to the big day, I had a trick or treat yourself day! I enjoyed this cheese and fruit board with a boozy orange julius for a nice relaxing and spooky day!
