✽ Cheesecake Pudding Mix: This cheesecake pudding mix will make these pudding shots taste just like a slice of cheesecake! You'll need one 3.4-ounce box of Jell-O cheesecake instant pudding.

✽ Milk: Adding a 1/2 cup of cold milk to these pudding shots will give the shots perfect consistency. For best results, use whole milk.

✽ Rumchata: Rumchata is a cream liqueur made with Caribbean rum, Mexican spice, and Wisconsin dairy cream. This creamy liqueur pairs perfectly with the cheesecake flavors by adding in a hint of cinnamon and vanilla.

✽ Whipped Cream Vodka: Whipped cream vodka is one of my favorite flavored vodkas. It is so good! This vodka will give these shots a more creamy taste and add in some more booze.

Some of my favorite brands include Pinnacle Whipped Cream vodka, Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka, and UV Whipped Vodka.

If you don't have whipped cream vodka, you can substitute it with a vanilla vodka or cake vodka.

✽ Cool Whip: The Cool Whip gives the shots the right consistency (fluffy, creamy, and light). Without the Cool Whip, the shots would be too liquidy. You will need one thawed 8-ounce container of Cool Whip for this recipe.

✽ Graham Cracker Crumbs: Adding graham cracker crumbs to the bottom of the shot glasses really makes these shots taste like actual cheesecake. I also like to sprinkle a bit on the top of the completed shots as well for the perfect finishing touch. You can either buy graham cracker crumbs or crush up whole graham crackers.

Graham Cracker Cheesecake Pudding Shots

➍ Scoop 1 teaspoon graham cracker crumbs into each of the empty 2-ounce plastic cups. *Instead of disposable shot cups, you could also serve in small glasses or small dessert bowls if serving at a dinner party.

➎ Evenly fill each of the prepared shot glasses with the pudding mixture. The shots taste better when cold so allow them to chill for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. Or freeze them for more of an ice cream consistency! If desired, sprinkle tops of shots with extra graham cracker crumbs.

Rumchata Pudding Shot Recipe: Questions

✽ Do I have to use whipped cream vodka?

You could use regular plain vodka, but I highly recommend using whipped cream vodka. The whipped vodka brings in creamy sweet flavor so the shots do not taste like strong vodka. It allows all that delicious Rumchata and cheesecake to shine through!

If you don't have whipped cream vodka, you can substitute it with cake vodka or vanilla vodka.

✽ Can I put more alcohol in these pudding shots?

I do not recommend adding more alcohol than what is called for in the recipe. When you change how much alcohol you add, you run the risk of the pudding shots not being the correct consistency.

✽ Can you freeze pudding shots?

Yes! Frozen pudding shots are delicious and the perfect adult summer treat. When frozen, they are more like the consistency of ice cream rather than pudding-like.

✽ Rumchata Vanilla Pudding Shots

There's many different variations for pudding shots. Another great way to make this recipe if you love vanilla flavors is to swap out the cheesecake pudding mix with instant vanilla pudding mix and swap the whipped cream vodka with vanilla vodka. Keep the other ingredients and amounts of ingredients in the recipe exactly the same.
