These bright pink shots are so delicious, fruity, and based on a pink panty cocktail. They are made with pink lemonade, gin, strawberry vodka, and vanilla vodka. A pink panty shot is perfect for bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and a hot day.

Pink Panty Shots Recipe

Terrible name. Delicious Shot!

I didn't come up with this name, but this shot recipe is based off of a cocktail known as the pink panties cocktail. That fruity cocktail has many different variations but the most common ingredients include strawberries, gin, pink lemonade, and vanilla ice cream. Sometimes you will also see Malibu rum and peach vodka used as well. Basically fruity and sweet flavor with pink lemonade!

I wanted to see if I could come up with a shot that was similar to this cocktail since it is such a great drink. However, it's not very practical to take a shot of something that contains ice cream so here's my version of a pink panty shot!

I would reckon that these shots would be the most ideal to serve at a bachelorette party, a birthday party, a girls' night, valentine's day, or galentine's day due to their beautiful pink color!

✽ Pink Lemonade Frozen Concentrate: By using the frozen concentrate, you will be able to get a lot more pink lemonade flavor into the shot. It will also make these shots a more vibrant pink color which is fabulous!

✽ Gin: I'm a huge gin fan which is probably why I love this combination of ingredients so much. The herbal taste of gin pairs very nicely with the fruity flavors.

✽ Strawberry Vodka: This vodka is so good and adds the perfect amount of strawberry to these shots. My favorite brand is Veil Strawberry Vodka. You could also use Svedka Vodka Strawberry Lemonade or Truly Strawberry Lemonade Vodka for more lemon flavor!

✽ Vanilla Vodka: Since adding vanilla ice cream to a shot recipe isn't practical, I opted to add in some vanilla vodka. Some good brands include Veil Vanilla Vodka, Absolut Vanilla, and Stolichnaya Vanil. If you can't find vanilla vodka, a good substitute would be whipped cream vodka.

If you would like to garnish the rim of the glass, I would suggest either small lemon slices, fresh strawberries, or strawberry starburst candy. You could also add pink sugar (by using corn syrup) around the rim of the shot glasses. I chose to simply add a cocktail umbrella to my shot for a little pizzazz!

How to Make Pink Panty Dropper Shots

➊ This shot is super easy and quick to make! In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 tablespoon pink lemonade frozen concentrate, 1/2 ounce gin, 1/2 ounce strawberry vodka, and 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka. Shake until chilled, about 10 seconds.

If you skip the shaker part, you'll end up with a room temperature shot. It's not bad, but the chilled version is much better, in my opinion.

Pink Panty Shot: Questions

✽ I don't like gin. Can I use something else?

Yep! If you aren't a big fan of gin, simply replace it with plain vodka in the recipe.

✽ Can I use pink lemonade instead of pink lemonade concentrate?

I don't recommend it. First, your shot will be much lighter in color if you use actual lemonade. Second, the pink lemonade flavor will be diluted quite a bit changing the flavor of the shot as a whole.

With that said, it doesn't taste bad with actual pink lemonade- just not as good, in my opinion.
