White Russian flavored pudding shots are so good! They are made with the classic White Russian ingredients- vodka and coffee liqueur. Instead of cream, milk, pudding mix, and Cool Whip are used. These pudding shots are creamy, coffee-flavored, and addicting and perfect for all types of parties!
Delicious Coffee-flavored Pudding Shots
These creamy pudding shots are to die for and perfect for any coffee lover. White Russian pudding shots are made with vodka and coffee liqueur just like an actual White Russian cocktail. The added milk and vanilla pudding mix add creaminess and delicious flavor. The Cool Whip folded in at the end makes them extra fluffy and light.
When these shots are garnished with a chocolate-covered espresso bean and chocolate shavings, they are extra tasty and cute. Who wouldn't want an adorable mini boozy coffee pudding?! These pudding shots would be a huge hit for birthday parties, weekend get-togethers, the holiday season, or any type of party!
White Russian Pudding Shots: Ingredients

β½ Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix: Vanilla pudding is a great option for these shots because it adds a bit of creaminess and flavor but does not overpower the White Russian ingredients.
β½ Milk: Adding a bit of milk to the shots will give them the perfect creamy consistency. Use whole milk for best results.
β½ Coffee Liqueur: Coffee-flavored liqueur is the most important part of a White Russian. It adds that delicious coffee flavor that everybody loves! The most popular brand is Kahlua.
β½ Vodka: Another important part of a White Russian- plain vodka. Use your favorite vodka for the tastiest shots.
β½ Cool Whip: The Cool Whip will make these shots the right consistency- light, creamy, and fluffy. Without the addition of this whipped topping, the shots would be too runny.
β½ Chocolate Shavings: I like to sprinkle on a few chocolate shavings for a little pizzazz. The chocolate pairs so well with the coffee liqueur and vanilla pudding.
β½ Chocolate-covered Coffee Beans: Lastly, I like to top each shot with a dark chocolate coffee bean. Yum!
How to Make White Russian Pudding Shots
β In a medium or large bowl, whisk 1/2 cup of milk and 3/4 cup coffee liqueur into 3.4 ounces of instant vanilla pudding mix. Continue whisking for a couple of minutes until the mixture begins to thicken. *You can also use an electric mixer for this step.*
β Whisk in 3/4 cup vodka.
β Fold in 8 ounces thawed Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
β Spoon pudding mixture evenly into 2 oz plastic shot cups. *Instead of disposable shot cups, you could also serve in shot glasses, small glasses, or small dessert bowls if serving at a dinner party.
β The shots taste better when cold so allow them to chill for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. Or freeze them for a couple of hours for more of an ice cream consistency!
β Right before serving, sprinkle with chocolate shavings and garnish with a chocolate-covered coffee bean.
White Russian Pudding Shot Recipe: Questions
β½ Can I use a flavored vodka instead?
Sure! I chose to use plain vodka because that is what you will find in an actual White Russian. However, you want more of a dessert taste choose either whipped cream vodka, vanilla vodka, or cake vodka.
β½ Can I put more alcohol in these pudding shots?
I do not recommend adding more alcohol than what the recipe calls for. When you start adding more booze, you run the risk of the shots not being the correct consistency.
β½ Can you freeze pudding shots?
Yep! Frozen pudding shots are absolutely delicious and perfect for hot summer days. The shots become almost ice cream like in consistency.
