Watermelon paleta shots or Mexican candy shots are full of sweet, tangy, and salty flavors. They taste very similar to those delicious watermelon Mexican candy suckers especially when the shot glass rims are coated in Chamoy and Tajin. These pink shots are perfect for birthday parties and hot summer days!

Ingredients

Chamoy, for rim
Tajin, for rim
• 3/4 oz watermelon pucker
• 3/4 oz silver tequila
• Dash of hot sauce
• Squeeze of fresh lime juice

Instructions

➊ On one side of a small plate, pour a small amount of Chamoy. On the other side of the plate, put a small pile of Tajin. Dip the rim of the shot glass into the Chamoy and then into the Tajin so the entire rim is coated.
➋ In a cocktail shaker, combine watermelon pucker, tequila, hot sauce, and lime juice with a few ice cubes. Shake until chilled, about 10 seconds. Strain shot into prepared shot glass. Cheers!
