These Malibu rum jello shots are perfect for anybody that loves tropical flavors! These delicious beautiful shots are made with coconut rum, orange juice, and grenadine. They are full of flavor and perfect for pool parties and hot summer days.
• 3/4 cup orange juice
• 3 ounces pineapple gelatin powder
• 1/4 cup grenadine
• 1 cup coconut rum
• Optional: 10 small orange slices, for garnish
• Optional: 10 maraschino cherries, for garnish
➊ In a small saucepan, bring the orange juice to a boil. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk boiling orange juice into the pineapple gelatin powder. Continue whisking for about 2 minutes until all the powder has dissolved.
➋ Whisk in grenadine and coconut rum.
➌ Pour Jello mixture into 10 plastic 2-ounce jello plastic shot cups. Place in the fridge for about 3-4 hours or until the shots have set.
➍ Right before serving, garnish each shot with an orange slice and/or maraschino cherry, if desired. Cheers!
