These cherry jello shots are perfect for anybody that loves chocolate covered cherries. The shots are made with cherry Jello, cherry vodka, and chocolate liqueur for an ultimate flavor bomb. They are especially good when the rim is coated in chocolate syrup and garnished with a cocktail cherry.
• 1 cup water, boiling
• 3 ounces cherry gelatin powder
• 1/2 cup chocolate liqueur
• 1/2 cup cherry vodka
• Optional: chocolate syrup, for rim
• Optional: 10 cocktail cherries, for garnish
➊ Add boiling water to cherry gelatin powder in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk for about 2 minutes until all the powder has dissolved.
➋ Whisk in chocolate liqueur and cherry vodka.
➌ Pour Jello mixture into 10 plastic 2-ounce jello plastic shot cups. Place in the fridge for about 3-4 hours or until the shots have set.
➍ Right before serving, dip each shot into some chocolate syrup to coat the rim, if desired. Garnish each shot with a cocktail cherry. Cheers!
