Irish breakfast shots are literally breakfast in shot form! The Irish whiskey, butterscotch schnapps, and syrup are followed by a big gulp of orange juice and a tasty piece of bacon. If you love breakfast foods then this shot is for you!

Ingredients

Maple syrup, for rim
Brown sugar, for rim
• 1 oz Irish whiskey
• 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
• 2 oz orange juice
• 1 strip bacon, cooked

Instructions

➊ On one side of a small plate, pour a small amount of maple syrup. On the other side of the plate, put a small pile of brown sugar. Dip the rim of the shot glass into the maple syrup and then into the brown sugar so the entire rim is coated.
➋ In a cocktail shaker, combine the Irish whiskey and butterscotch schnapps with a few ice cubes. Shake until chilled, about 10 seconds. Strain into the prepared syrup-rimmed shot glass. In another shot glass, pour in orange juice and top the glass with the cooked bacon.
To take the shot: First, lick the rim of the shot glass and take the Irish whiskey/butterscotch schnapps shot. Then shoot the orange juice followed by the bacon. Cheers!
